Scabies is a skin condition that most commonly affects humans. The responsible parasite attacks the epidermis by making sort of furrows in it as a nest. Then the female parasite chooses them to lay the eggs. This then causes itching . Gradually, lesions form on the skin.
Namely, that this type of disease is contagious. In other words, it can be transmitted from person to person if one of them is contaminated. In contrast, human mange differs from both plant and animal mange. These two other types of scabies cannot in any case evolve in humans. There is another type of scab called “cement scab.” This is a condition that particularly affects workers working in the building industry or any other sector that gives rise to the handling of cement. This has nothing to do with human scab as such.
What are the causes of scabies?
Scabies can be transmitted in two different ways: the non-human factor and the human factor . The non-human factor is the parasite called “sarcopte”. They are small mites specific to humans. They find their nutrients in human blood. In addition, the female during fertilization causes lesions by depositing their eggs inside the epidermis. After a few days, the eggs hatch and multiply rapidly. The transmission becomes very fast. And it is in this way that it joins the human factor. A person already infected can easily infect a healthy person. This can be favored by the outside temperature since at the right temperature, pests can survive for two or more days. In addition, they are resistant to soaping. Places like schools, nurseries and other public areas are the most dangerous.
What are the symptoms of scabies?

The most sensitive places are the inside of the wrists, between the fingers, the armpits, the elbows, the thighs, at the level of the abdominal belt or the breasts and buttocks. The lesions are covered with scabs in the elderly or those with immunosuppression. One should no longer doubt the presence of scabies if all the members of the family start to scratch in turn .
