Les Petites choses is a brand founded in 2005 by Johan and Matthieu, two men (yes, men!) who have the same passion for natural and organic products. They started by formulating baby products such as organic milks, wipes and nappies. But with the demands of mothers, the company turned to the production of menstrual protection. True to its principles, the pads it offers are made of 100% organic cotton fibre, certified by the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) label, and biodegradable. The brand’s commitments
0% perfume, 0% PEG emulsifier, 0% paraben, 0% chlorine, 0% glyphosate and 0% dioxin, the brand’s motto is never to use synthetic or chemical materials in their products. Most of these elements are a source ofirritation and potentially dangerous for women’s health. All Les Petites Choses products are made with 100% organic cotton fibre and are free of endocrine disruptors. Moreover, to reassure their customers, the brand has published a complete toxicological report on the pads and tampons it offers. This has effectively certified the absence of endocrine disruptors in the composition of their intimate protection products. This transparency regarding the composition of the products is part of the brand’s commitments. Also concerned about the planet, the brand has opted for a short sales circuit to limit carbon emissions. Moreover, the production of Les Petites Choses’ intimate protection products takes place in Catalonia. Moreover, the intermediaries between the manufacturer and the customers have been eliminated. In addition to this, the brand also aims to limit plastic waste from sanitary protection. Indeed, a study has shown that pads and tampons are among the most common sources of single-use waste.
