With the help of ancestral knowledge as well as the local population’s artisanal know-how, and after more than a year of research and development, the Settara brand was born. This is why the brand has chosen to highlight the Settara forest by bearing its name. In fact, Settara is the marriage of the Mediterranean forest rich in exceptional wild plants, the preservation of ancestral know-how and a healthy formulation based on sensoriality.
Labelled and certified care products
It is important to specify that all the products in the range have the Cosmebio and Cosmos Organic labels. In addition, these products are certified by Cosmécert: an independent certification body. This is the most demanding label in Europe. Indeed, it guarantees at a glance that the products are formulated with a minimum of 95%natural and organic plant ingredients.

Healthy and natural ingredients
Serrata produces skin care products with a high concentration of active plant ingredients. As a result, all products developed by the brand are able to meet the real needs of the skin. In short, all ingredients derived from synthetic chemistry and petrochemistry (GMO, Silicone…) are banned. Secondly, the perfumes used are of natural origin, as are the ingredients used in all the care formulations. Secondly, the active ingredients chosen come from the same region. Not even a machine is allowed in the forest. All species grow wild and evolve at their own pace, without any human intervention. The plants are harvested by hand in order to preserve their reproductive system. This allows them to regenerate optimally.
Ecocert certified vegetable oils
The entire extraction process for pistachio and oleaster oils has been certified by Ecocert (growth, hand-picking, cold pressing, etc.). These oils come from the wild plants of the Settara forest. The plants of the forest are harvested by hand in order to respect their rhythm in the heart of their natural habitat. The plants develop thanks to a slow growth, a rich soil and a diversified ecosystem. Thus they concentrate more active ingredients than cultivated plants. Cold extraction preserves all the properties of the plant and produces high quality vegetable oils.
